On June 20, the scouts of Troop 987 out of Vienna Virginia built a pollinator garden adjacent to the blacktop area.  The butterfly garden was the Eagle Scout project of a daughter of one of Bailey’s ES teachers.  The boys and girls, along with the support of their adult leaders helped to build 37 garden boxes.  The boxes were built off site, and then loaded and transported via truck to the school for installation.  A total of 40 different young men and women from Troop 987 worked for two weekends to make this dream a reality.  It is amazing to see what can be accomplished when people work together to make something beautiful!
