Bailey's Teachers Enjoyed Educator Open House as part of the REACH Opening Festival at the Kennedy Center!  

The Kennedy Center has expanded! On September 7th, The REACH, opened to the public and kicked off their two-week opening festival. During the opening festival, members of the community can enjoy free activities, performances and more! The REACH will give opportunities for artists to participate and communicate with the community. This location will welcome students and visitors to interact with art and engage in programs and exhibits. 

Last night, educators were invited to The Kennedy Center for a special event at The REACH. A group of Bailey's teachers attended the Educator Open House featuring Mo Willems, Artist-in-Residence, and Dr. Carla Hayden, Librarian of Congress. Bailey's teachers had the chance to meet Elephant & Piggy and participate in a variety of hands-on art exhibits.
