Field Day for Bailey’s Elementary is scheduled for: 

•1st Grade Thursday, May 22nd from 9:20 AM until approximately 11:20 AM 

•Kindergarten Thursday, May 22nd from 1:00 PM until approximately 3:00 PM

•2nd Grade Friday, May 23rd from 9:20 AM until approximately 11:20 AM 

How students can be prepared for Field Day: 

✓ Because the weather will likely be warm, students should wear comfortable and cool clothing. 

✓ Students must also wear sneakers/tennis shoes. No boots, sandals, or flip-flops should be worn on this day. 

✓ Hats and visors may be worn for protection from the sun. 

✓ A plastic bottle of water is a great idea. Drinking water will also be available but we will have a limited amount of cups. No glass containers please. 

✓ Please do not bring juice, soda or any drink other than water, as it could attract bees. 

✓ Some stations will involve water and students may get a little wet. If students do not want to get wet they should notify their teacher. 

✓ Students may wish to bring a towel and dry outfit to change into after field day. 

✓ Most importantly… Be prepared to have FUN!!
